Chances are, in the moments after you first found out you were pregnant you began to imagine what it would be like to first gaze at your newborn baby. You wondered what your baby would look like, if it would be a boy or a girl, and perhaps most importantly, what it would feel like to experience the love at first sight that happens when you see your baby for the first time.
It probably also didn’t take long for you to start wondering what you could expect from your childbirth experience. You can never be exactly sure how your birth will go, short or long, smooth or complicated, there are no guarantees. One thing that you can be sure of though, is that childbirth will have its challenges. Even most mothers who have an “easy” birth will agree that there were challenges for them. As a doula, I guide you through the unknowns of childbirth and help you overcome the challenges you face.
